Alberto Corazón

Studied Sociology and Economic Sciences (1960). Founder of Editorial Ciencia Nueva. Chairman and founder of the Asociación Española de Profesionales del Diseño [Spanish Association of Design Professionals]. He is currently a member of the European Parliament Advisory Committee on Graphic Communication.

National Design Award in 1989. Gold Medal Award of the Arts Directors Club, New York. Gold Award of the Designers Association of London, American Institute of Graphic Arts Award. 'Descubrir el Arte' Award for Artistic Career (2011). Member of the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts (2006).


His prolific work and passion for all aspects of the world of publishing are expressed through drawing, painting, sculpture and even pieces of jewellery. As a versatile designer and artist he has transformed his astonishing designs skills into works of art. Oils, prints and sculptures in aluminium or bronze are intrinsic elements of his rich legacy. Iconic pieces of extraordinary creativity and the outcome of an entire life of focusing on what lies beyond what our eyes perceive. His international career is acknowledged through an endless list of awards and exhibitions.
